Dr.Khimanand Upreti, from Delhi, joined the Temple on August 29th 2006.

He has a double MA (Vyakaranacharya & Jyotishacharya) with two specializations in Sanskrit Grammar and Astrology. He is Ph.D.in Astrology and is also NET (National Education Trended) qualified.

He worked at Sri Raghunath Temple, Delhi for 12 years as the Head Priest.
For over 1.4 years, he worked in UGC Major Research Program in the area of weather forecasting and changing environmental conditions by using Astrology, movement of stars, planetary condition and position in the Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit University as Project Associate & Lecturer.
He has received 25 awards in intercollegiate competition as a student life.
The Delhi Sanskrit Academy (Govt. of Delhi) invited him for three years asking for questioning university students from Ved-Vedangs, Sanskrit Sahitya,Shad-darshan etc.
Before joining our Temple, he worked as Head Priest at the Hindu Temple of Ottawa,Ontario,Canada.

He is an educated Hindu priest with extensive knowledge and experience and well conversant with all aspects of Hindu rituals. He is full-fledged Vedpathi, Karmkandi, Katha-Vyas, Sanskrit Lecturer (Vyakhyata), Astrologer Specializes in Vastu, Horoscope matching for marriages.
He has extensive knowledge of all Shodash Sanskaras,Chandi Yagna, Rudrabhishekam and  Mahamrityunjaya Yagna, Vastu-Shanti, Kumbhabhishekam,etc.


Dr.Upreti is married, with three school-age children.
 


Sri Venkatesan Renganathan, joined our temple as a priest, in July 2007.

Sri Venkatesh hails from Thanjavur in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. He is a Vedic scholar, well versed in Krishna Yajur Veda and Paancharaathra Aagamam. He is a Ghanapati (a coveted title given to a talented Vedic Prodigy) from Anna Swami Iyengar Veda Patashala, located in Mannargudi, Tamil Nadu. His mentor Veeravalli Ghanapati V. Desigaachariyaar is a Presidential Award recipient.

Before joining our temple, Sri Venkatesh worked as a Vedic Instructor in Vadur Veda Paatashaala in India and went on to become the Head Priest at the Sri Renganatha Temple, Pomona, New York. He worked at Pomona Temple for 3 years and led several Temple events successfully.

Sri Venkatesh has extensive knowledge in several south Indian rituals including Kalyaanotsavam, Pavithra Utsavam, Brahmotsavam, Adhyayana Utsavam, Kumbhabhishekam, Sudharshana Homam, Lakshmi Narasimha Homam, Navagraha Homam, Santhanagopala Homam, Sathyanarayana pooja, Punyaaha Vaachanam, Seemantham, Vivaham and Upanayanam. He also specializes in Vaastu Shastra.

Sri Venkatesh is soft spoken and knows several Indian languages.
